Flinders Quartet presents Phantasy

Flinders Quartet are thrilled to present their first program for 2021, Phantasy, at various venues and streamed digitally via Melbourne Digital Concert Hall this May.

Presented in memory of Clifford Hocking AM, the concert will celebrate his profound contribution to the arts in Australia as an avid champion of great music, and an integral supporter of Flinders Quartet.

Inspired by the challenges of 2020, the program champions composers who have overcome great adversity in their lives, using it as a springboard to fuel their creativity with pieces from Fanny Mendelssohn, Imogen Holst, Margaret Sutherland, Ella Macens and Elena Kats-Chernin.
