Infinite Splendours - Sofie Laguna

Sofie Laguna's writing has explored the trauma of betrayal, love and anger as children move through the chaotic world of adults and attempt to carve out an understanding of the world around them. Infinite Splendours, Sofie's latest work incorporates the beauty of artistic expression in dealing with betrayal.

Sofie initially studied to become a lawyer but found the law was not for her. She moved to Melbourne to train as an actor. She then began writing for children and adults. Her second novel, The Eye of the Sheep won the 2015 Miles Franklin award and has been optioned for film and theatre.
