Saplings Masterclass in Australian Music

Saplings is a youth development programme which offers experience and tuition in Australian traditional music to musicians roughly 8 – 18 years of age.

Saplings is facilitated by members of the Bush Music Club Inc and includes periodic Masterclasses, performance and workshop opportunities at Folk Festivals and a family-friendly, annual camping weekend in the beautiful Southern Highlands.

Saplings aims to give young musicians a pathway to musicianship outside of the school environment - a place where they can meet new friends, be occupied at Festivals, develop stagecraft and, families can connect around the lifestyle of having fun and playing music which has a living history.

A Masterclass will be held at the Bush Music Club on Saturday 10th July 2021, at Marrickville. All tutors are experienced musicians and have a current WWCC.
