New Farm Nash Theatre

Spider’s Web by Agatha Christie, directed by Sharon White, is playing In New Farm from 5 to 27 November 2021.

Cheers! Spider's Web opens Friday 5th November 2021 at 7.30pm! Come and join us for a brilliant night of theatre, a champagne supper and the launch of Nash Theatre's 2022 season!

Spider’s Web is one of the few plays written by Agatha Christie as an original play and was the second longest-running play in the West End surpassed only by The Mousetrap. What sets it apart from some of her other plays is that although it has the plot twists and red herrings you expect, it is also great fun.

Henry Hailsham-Brown’s second wife Clarissa is adept at spinning tales of adventure. When she is asked why she makes up these stories she says no one believes her when she tells the truth, but when a murder takes place in her drawing room, she comes to learn that the facts are much more exciting than fiction. Desperate to dispose of the body before her husband arrives home with an important foreign diplomat, she enlists the help of her guests. Everything seems to be going according to plan until the police arrive.

Evening performances: 7.30pm Fridays and Saturdays throughout November (6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 & 27 November 2021)
