The Bunker Spoken Word Series: Heat 1

The Bunker Spoken Word Series returns in 2021 bigger than ever, with a new hybrid competition that sees our best local performers go head-to-head with poets beamed in live from across the nation, all vying for victory and a huge $1000 cash prize.

Embracing this brave new world, The Bunker Spoken Word Series presents two heats and a grand final spanning the physical and digital worlds of spoken word.

This event will feature 10 poets performing live on stage at the Wonderland Spiegeltent, with five finalists to be selected to progress to the Grand Final. Sydney’s own Unlikely Poet, Kaveh Akbari Arya, will perform as the evening’s feature artist.
