March is Women’s History Month and in acknowledgement of this the Friends of ANZAC Cottage will dedicate its ANZAC Afternoon in March to exploring the Australian Women’s Land Army and the part that these courageous women played during World War II. The event will be held on Sunday, March 28 from 1:30 to 4:00 pm with a talk at 2:30 pm exploring the skills and the work that the “Land Army girls” did to keep the nation fed and operating whilst others were fighting the foe.

Afternoon tea is available for a gold coin donation with ice creams on sale. Bookings are not required and for more information, please call Anne on 0411 44 55 82 or email chapan@highway1.com.au.
