The Art of Attraction Tourism Summit is Australia’s only conference for towns and regions looking to take advantage of two fast-growing areas: art tourism and mature-age visitation.

Under the theme of "Unlocking the Law of Attraction", attendees to the three-day conference will gain valuable, practical insights into:
- Using public, street and silo art to drive visitation
- Harnessing the wealth and loyalty of the most mobile and fastest-growing visitor segment - over 55s
- Exploring the ways communities and destinations can bring about transformational change in the way and extent to which they engage with visitors.

The conference will incorporate a deep dive Street Art 101 masterclass, tours, conference sessions, fun social events, and will conclude with a networking and Awards evening that will see the winners of the 2021 Australian Street Art Awards and Grey Nomad Awards crowned.

One of our main objectives of the Summit and associated Awards is to arm towns and tourism operators with the tools and knowledge to get Australians to continue seeing Australia first – something that is even more important now with international travel reopening.

Delegates include tourism operators, local government personnel, art curators, community and business organisation representatives, arts organisations and agents, and festival and event organisers.

The Sunshine Coast is emerging as a dynamic creative hub and a place that celebrates, supports and nurtures creative and cultural activities, making Caloundra within this region the perfect location for the 2022 event.

Sunshine Coast Council and the official regional tourism organisation, Visit Sunshine Coast, are Destination Partners for the 2022 Art of Attraction.
