Come down to Campsie for two days of food, music and art this May!
Explore exciting food stalls dishing out mouth-watering Chinese-Malaysian cuisine, as well as musical acts, children’s entertainers, games, roaming performance artists and DJs.
Expect some exciting specialty rice and noodle dishes, moreish tapioca and sesame inspired desserts, and refreshing drinks from neighbourhood favourites such as Albee’s Kitchen and Malaysia Hometown Hawker.
What’s more, you can wash it all down at the pop-up Tiger Beer bar, where a selection of brews and cheeky beverages will be available all weekend.
Meanwhile, there will be a dedicated durian stall run by The Thorny Fruit Co, with the added bonus of Duria Musang King durian ice-creams!
In addition, there will be the opportunity to support and enjoy al fresco dining outside many of Campsie’s cherished local restaurants, with the streets lined with beanbags, deck chairs and café-style seating.
Around the corner, Campsie’s ANZAC Mall will be a hub of activity, with a main stage hosting performances, including live jazz and local DJ Alice Tauv, as well as family-friendly experiences including a kids’ Lion Dance workshop by Jin Wu Koon, and performances by Suara Indonesian Dance.
You can also interact with the unique two-metre squared digital cube known as Storybox, which will present a collection of stories and artworks that explore Campsie’s historical and contemporary moments.
Situated right in the heart of Campsie, this event is perfect for the whole family and a great way to get outdoors and reconnect with the community.
