Chamber Music at the Cathedral

A concert of flute, violin/viola, and piano music. The program will start with a bubbly trio by J.C.F. Bach (J.S. Bach's ninth son), and include a Mozart sonata for piano & violin, as well as a duo for flute & viola by Haydn's great friend Franz Anton Hoffmeister. Also being performed are trios from the Romantic era by César Cui (one of the Russian "Mighty Five"), and French composer Mel Bonis, whose inspired music is finally being rediscovered.
