A family-friendly outdoor jazz, funk and blues festival among the vines. Children 15 and under, free. Featuring the MUSIC and FOOD of New Orleans.

SO excited to present this celebration of all things New Orleans - featuring the FUNK, JAZZ and BLUES music of N'Awlins, as well as the great southern FOOD that is signature to the Crescent City! The OUTDOOR FESTIVAL vibes will all come to life at McLaren Vale Cellar Door lawns in this gorgeous wine region of our great SA.

THE MUSIC
The day kicks off with 5 piece NOLA classics from the super talented ATLANTIC STREET BAND from 1:30 to 3.30pm, setting the scene for 8-piece NEW ORLEANS FUNK EXPRESS hitting the big stage from 4 – 7pm. This band features members of The Harmonics, augmented by the Horny Horns, and these guys have been wowing Adelaide audiences in sold out shows since forming in 2020 with their energetic and thoroughly entertaining blend of New Orleans Funk Soul and Blues!
All the musicians are seasoned professionals who really know how to put on a polished and professional show that is amazing to watch. Satisfaction guaranteed!

THE FOOD
Professional chef team Sumptuous Repast Catering are creating a New Orleans themed menu especially for the day. Think Gumbo, Jambalaya, Poh Boys, Red Beans and Rice, Fried Chicken and Tater tots. Yum! (including vegan options).

WINE, BEERS & COFFEE
Plus Barista style coffee with Leconfield Richard Hamilton Wines of course and local beers from favourite Fleurieu breweries .

All of this is on the lawns of McLaren Vale Cellar Door with views to the hills and the surrounding vineyards!

Guests are invited to bring their own chairs and picnic rugs, relax on the lawn and soak up the New Orleans festive atmosphere.

Southern Fried Chicken
Chicken breast pieces marinated in buttermilk tossed in a Cajun-style flour served with housemade hot sauce and aioli
