Originally from the small south coast town of Walpole, Oceanique are a twin sister duo based in Perth Western Australia, with ethereal harmonies and peaceful folk energies, their songs capture moments in time, with an inquisitive sense of wonder and awe. Their 'Youth Folk Artist of the Year' award nomination brings their stories and songs across the country to Naarm/Melbourne.

Ellen James creates music with vulnerable lyricism and building melodies that cuts in, opens up and leaves you reeling with love and grief and longing and whisky. Having recently shifted back to The Big Smoke, James has been trying to sing songs with as many friends as possible. Recently having the honour to open for Matilda O’brien, Hugh F and Leroy MacQueen
