ABOUT BLAK SOCIAL
Blak Social (https://www.blaksocial.com/) is an Indigenous arts collective working across theatre, music and digital strategy. Alethea Beetson established Blak Social after successfully founding a renowned Indigenous youth arts organisation, Digi Youth Arts, to continue creating spaces for the sovereign-led development and presentation of Indigenous stories and connected arts practice. Blak Social was formed in 2020 and launched with a digital event as part of Horizon Festival. In 2022 and 2023 Blak Social holds a residency at The Tivoli to produce music centric events; the first being BLAK DAY OUT.

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Festivals Australia program.
