What are your plans for the 16th of July? Do you enjoy live music? Do you enjoy supporting up-and-coming artists? Well you’re in luck! On Saturday the 16th of July, Soulful Sounds is taking place at Malvern Town Hall… And it’s free!

Soulful Sounds is an all-ages live music event featuring some of Melbourne’s best up-and-coming artists. Featuring a diverse range of music, great (free) food, and fantastic vibes, there’s something for the entire family to enjoy!

Headlining the event is Hana Rosé. New Zealand-born Wāhine Toa (warrior woman), Hana is an emotive and dynamic storyteller and performer. Her soulful voice lends perfectly to her unique contemporary R&B style.

Also performing is Benjamin Trillado. Benjamin uses introspective storytelling paired with a blend of contemporary folk and indie rock tonalities in his music which makes him a joy to watch live. His hit single Glue has racked up over 700,000 streams on Spotify.

Ishan Merchant, Rogerson, Emeree, Conor Morrissey, Cooper Jack, and Jo Eden will also be performing at Soulful Sounds.

Soulful Sounds is organised by The City of Stonnington Youth Services FReeZA team. As such, Soulful Sounds is an alcohol and drug free event. Sushi will be available for all patrons on the night. While tickets are free, RSVPs are essential and tickets can be booked via Eventbrite.
