South Australia’s History Festival 2022

South Australians are invited to embrace the theme reimagine when they are exploring their rich history at one of the state’s largest open-access community events, which is back from 1-31 May. The month-long festival provides an opportunity to explore places and spaces, stories and collections at over 400 events across the state in both metropolitan and regional areas.

South Australia’s History Festival is an annual event exploring South Australia’s history. The 2022 festival promises opportunities for South Australians and our visitors to be immersed in the history of this great state with performances, exhibitions and behind-the-scenes tours to thought-provoking talks, bus and boat tours, bushwalks and concerts in hundreds of venues - from galleries, to graveyards, to pubs and clubs - there is something for curious minds of all ages.
