On Sunday 11th September at 4:00pm at OLGC Catholic Church, the young and vibrant Felix Quartet will present a captivating interpretation of string quartets by Haydn and Mendelssohn as well as the richly romantic Slow Movement by Webern.

Named in reference to Felix Mendelssohn, the Felix Quartet of violinists Yue (David) Zheng and Andrew Wang, violist Benjamin Lam and cellist Ariel Volovelsky, founded in early 2022 with the goal of creating engaging and original performances of wide-ranging repertoire. The Felix Quartet has been awarded the Henderson Travellers scholarship and has performed in world-renowned chamber music festivals including the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in Finland, as well as the Australian Festival of Chamber Music. They have been fortunate to receive an invitation to form an artistic residency in Europe as part of le Dimore del Quartetto.
