The City of Maribyrnong is excited to welcome the return of their beloved live music event for its fourth instalment and the reinvention of West Set as part of ‘On The Road Again’, a Victorian Government initiative to support the return of live music events across Victoria. This festival will once again take over the inner west suburb or Footscray with live music programming on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays across the second half of October offering Free Entry for all shows.

This West Set 2022 venue will be a 16+ event. So that we can provide a secure and safe environment for everyone, security will be conducting ID checks where proof of age will be required upon entry. Anyone who is 16+ and fails to present an Accepted ID upon entry will be refused entry unless, they are accompanied by an adult.

Seble Girma
Seble Girma was a member of the Ethiopian circus in Ethiopia. She sings with JAzmaris and her performances and energy are contagious. Her dances are often representing the varying regional costumes and dances of Ethiopia.
Christina Melkamu
Christina Melkamu is an Ethiopian singer from Addis Ababa living in Melbourne. Her shows encompass traditional and New Generation Modern Ethio-music.
Iaki Vallejo
Iaki Vallejo is a Colombian African/indigenous descendant singer/songwriter, visual artist, choir director, music & video producer based in Melbourne. Iaki mixes many styles, fusing Afro-Colombian rhythms with jazz, french music, soul, salsa, afro-beat and reggae.
Parvyn
Parvyn is a Punjabi-Australian singer best known for her work in band The Bombay Royale. Parvyn’s current solo project represents a new step in her career and is informed by, soul and jazz, her background in Sikh devotional music and her training in classical Indian music and dance.
