Bonsai Open 2023

If you have an interest in bonsai or have already fallen in love with these lilliputian trees then don’t miss the Bonsai Open. On display will be approximately 120 bonsai trees and with $5,000 in prize money you will get to see some stunning bonsai. There will be demonstrations across the weekend from some of the country’s finest bonsai artists, as well as vendors selling mature bonsai trees and starters, handmade pots, bonsai tools and a wide range of bonsai-related items.
The Bonsai Open will be held at Mingara Recreation Club, Tumbi Umbi on the 4th and 5th of March 2023, from 9am - 5pm Saturday and 9am – 4 pm Sunday. Entry is $7 for adults and children are free.
