Buttonfest 2023 is an all-day celebration of buttons.

The Victorian Button Collectors Club presents its annual Buttonfest 2023.

An opportunity for the public to learn more about grandma’s button box and look at the extraordinary world encapsulated of these tiny gems, Buttonfest has it all! See and purchase marvellous antique, vintage, contemporary and collectible buttons on the day. Start a collection - it’s a catchy habit!

Come for the many button stalls, button displays, button raffles - the day is perfect for passionate collectors and those new to the hobby. Crafters + Quilters - enjoy a hunt for that perfect button for your latest make. Make Do + Menders - you can pick up just the button for your d-i-y fix! Bet you can’t leave empty handed!

‘Gorgeous Glass’ is this year’s button display theme, so expect to be dazzled by faceted Victorian black glass mourning buttons, stunning Art Deco treasures from the best glass manufacturers in pre-war Czechoslovakia, glow-in-the-dark uranium buttons and Modernist stunners from iconic Australian furniture designer Grant Featherston.

$4 for adults. Free for kids.
