Dunhuang Grottoes Art Lecture

China Cultural Centre in Sydney in collaboration with Art Gallery of NSW invites Dr Zhao Shengliang, Chairman of the Academic Committee of the Dunhuang Academy, to host a lecture of “Dunhuang Grottoes Art”. In the lecture, Dr Zhao will provide a multifaceted exploration of Dunhuang Grottoes Art, particularly Dunhuang mural painting arts, guiding the audience into the Dunhuang art treasure. Engaged in the research of Dunhuang art and Chinese art history, Dr Zhao has published more than 100 papers and more than 20 books in academic journals in China and abroad, mainly including “Research on Landscape Painting of Dunhuang”, “Art History of Dunhuang Grottoes (the Sixteen Kingdoms and the Northern Dynasties )”, “Art of Apsaras”, “History of Dunhuang Landscape Painting”.
