Dancebourne Arts "Five Elements" has been developed and re-sculpted over a three year period following much deliberation in overseeing a stunning choice of classical and contemporary music (Chopin, Einaldi, Sculthorpe, Debussy, Josh Mitchell & Shorter) and an expressive and reflective style of movement incorporated in the choreography.

The classical pieces Air & Water have been choreographed by Luanne Hyson who was professionally trained in New York at the School of American Ballet then went on to dance professionally in companies in Europe. Earth has been choreographed by Gareth Belling (ex Queensland Ballet) and a master of contemporary dance (currently undertaking a PHD). Fire has been choreographed by Kathleen Skipp an industry experienced innovator of contact contemporary dance with original music composed for her piece by Australian composer Josh Mitchell. Void was choreographed under my direction by the Australian award winning Aerial artist Shannon Prickett.

AIR by Luanne Hyson, challenges ideas of willingness and benevolence to music by Ludovico Einaudi.

EARTH by Gareth Belling, is inspired by the magnitude of gravity. Music by Peter Sculthorpe.

WATER by Luanne Hyson, connects ideas of emotion, defensiveness, and adaptability. Music by Claude Debussy.

FIRE by Kathleen Skipp, counterpoints forms of passion and energy. Original music by Josh Mitchell.

VOID by Shannon Prickett, experiments with concepts of power, spontaneity, and creativity. Music by Clinton Shorter.
