On Friday, 06 October, our feature acts will be Anne Ferguson-Howe & Jack Knight with MC Andrew Barnett!

Anne's rude, crass, bawdy humour has audiences weeping as they either adore or abhor her brand of humour. Anne has travelled extensively around Australia entertaining, bringing the funnies and sharing with audiences her stories of 21st century beauty therapy and her struggle to find love. She loves nothing more than holding court and enthralling people with her somewhat visual descriptions of life and situations. Anne has shared a stage with some comedy greats including, Fiona O’Loughlin, Mick Meredith, Jimeoin, Lindsay Webb, Tahir, Wil Anderson and Bev Killick to name a few. Anne may be a female, but is a favourite with both male and female audiences alike and as brought her broad cockney accent as far north as Darwin and as south as South Australia....she particularly favours a raucous crowd.

You ever seen a man’s brain backfire like a Datsun 120Y on stage? Because that’s what Jack Knight’s comedy is. Jack is a deranged soup-drinking maniac in the middle of a crisis that would make Chernobyl blush harder than Japan being reminded of Nanjing. Having supported the likes of Mel Buttle, Sam Campbell, and Dan Rath, Jack Knight has cemented himself early into cult comedian status, and is admired amongst his peers as one of Australian comedy’s most unique emerging voices. Catch him on stage before he drives a Ford Falcon into the Barrier Reef and is never seen again.
