In collaboration with Into Coffee, Into The Vines brings the authentic stories of winemakers to you, introducing you to a variety of family-owned, small-batch wineries. Try exquisite varietals from different climates and terroirs while mingling with fellow wine enthusiasts on Wednesday 20 December, and discover over 20 new wines.

Located at 2A Robert Street, Collingwood, the cozy venue provides the perfect ambience for indulging in a variety of wines - from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to alternative varietals like Trebbiano and Greco.

Whether you are a wine lover keen to discover the hidden gems of Victoria, or an Italophile wanting to discover Abruzzo, or you need a fun experience to try with your mates, or maybe you are after a date night with a difference - this event is for you. You'll even get a chance to meet the vignerons behind each drop you try, and they will guide you through the tasting and share personal insights about each wine.

Dates: Wednesday 20th December
Times: There will be two time slots to book and are limited to 90 at a time - 6pm to 7pm and 7pm to 8pm- note this is more for staggered entry- don't be too panicked if you don't get through them all, usually we don't have to kick people out :)

Price: $10 for the first 100 tickets sold, $15 per ticket after that. Includes entry and tastings, cheese grazing board to cleanse your palate between tastings, wine tasting cards - and there will be wines available to purchase directly from the winemaker.

Current schedule:
Mount Monument Wines: Mount Macedon
Architect Nonda Katsalidis of MONA, Eureka tower had a vision to build a testament to the arts in the beautiful town of Romsey in Macedon Ranges. Macedon Ranges is known for its low yields and high quality grapes specialising in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Under the experienced eye of property General Manager and Cellar Door/Restaurant owner Georgia Veitenheimer-Bradwell the wine program has gone from strength to strength. Utilising natural methods, unique varietals and experienced viticulture to achieve premium wines.

Zaccagnini Wines: Abruzzo- Italy
Cantina Zaccagnini was founded in 1978 inBolognano, a small village in the heart of Abruzzo inthe province of Pescara and a “cru” land of production of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. It was 1978 when Marcello Zaccagnini decidedto pursue the passion for wine inherited from his father Ciccio and to transform the grape she produced together with his family in a place of aggregation surrounded by wine and art.

You could say that Marcello was ‘chosen’ to help raise Abruzzo’s native grapes to new heights, when Zaccagnini’s Montepulciano D’Abruzzo became one of John Paul II’s favourite wines in the late 80s.
