Jane Bell is a 32-year-old ex-corporate-ladder-climber and current kids’ party clown. A former engineer, competitive eater, winemaker, wedding planner, startup guru, astrophysicist, bartender and debt collector, Jane has done everything – sloppily.

A mix of chaotic sketch comedy, stories, and stand-up, SLOPS explores the messy, disorganised, and frantic parts of us all – particularly for anyone who has ever wondered “Is this it?” after signing up for a 9-5 job with unpaid overtime, mountains of debt, and not enough skills to boil an egg.

But is a sloppy life a happy life? There’s only one way to find out. Slop your way through a quarter-life crisis with Jane Bell.

Jane Bell is a regular performer in the Melbourne comedy scene, currently in the midst of her fourth quarter-life crisis (assuming she'll live to 128). SLOPS is Jane’s debut solo show, premiering at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023.
