Korea Festival 2023

Korea Festival 2023, the biggest cultural event introducing Korea since 2014 is returning this13th of May at Federation Square! It will be free and open to the public, for anyone interested in Korean culture or interested in learning more about it.

It will be an exciting 1 day event to celebrate Korean culture through exciting performances such as traditional music, K-Pop dance and singing competition, Taekwondo demonstrations and many more.

There will also be many bustling booths including Korean food, traditional crafts, traditional clothing try ons and more! An activity for everyone to enjoy, be it having some delicious food or trying on some Korean traditional clothing, there is plenty of entertainment for everyone.

Festival goers will be able to challenge themselves to some of the games from the hit Netflix show, Squid Games where they can give it a shot and test their strength in our tug of war (줄다리기) game or test their speed getting to the finish line while trying not to get caught moving during the Red Light, Green Light (무궁화 꽃이 피던 날) game. They will also be able to challenge one of the red suited staff to a traditional game of Ttakji (딱지).
