MARS Gallery is delighted to present Leila Jeffreys's first Melbourne solo debut with her exhibition, The wound is the place where the light enters. The series was made in response to the devastating bushfires which ravaged the east coast of Australia over the summer of 2019-2020, it brings together Leila's well-known and loved portraits of birds alongside Temple a largescale 3screen video pool installation on the gallery's main floor.
On at MARS from 27th July- 19 August 2023, opening event - Saturday 29th July, 4-6 pm.
