Linden Creates - Printmaking Masterclass

Join us for a captivating two-part masterclass to explore printmaking strategies without a press and unleash creativity in printmaking.

In the first session, we will experiment with the printmaking technique Monotype Trace. We will briefly look at historical precedents and then undertake experiments with the technique that consider how printmaking attends to ideas and strategies of layering repetition and appropriation.

In the second session, we will learn about intaglio printmaking strategies through the Drypoint technique. Using an experimental printing strategy, we will then print our drypoints without the need or use of pressure or an etching press. Here we will consider ideas that pertain to mark-making, gestural expression and inscription through this technique.
