Meet The Winemaker – Greg Jarratt, St Hubert’s Wines

This July, we are welcoming St Hubert’s Winemaker Greg Jarratt to Little Prince Wine for an evening of wine, conversation and canapés.

Joining us from the St Hubert’s Cellar Door at Hubert Estate, Greg brings with him over 25 years of industry experience and is this month’s host for our Meet The Winemaker series.

Having started his career in the Yarra Valley as Assistant Winemaker at Coldstream Hills, Greg’s winemaking experience soon reached international level, working in Bordeaux and the Languedoc-Roussillon region working for La Perouse wines.

Returning to Australia in 1998, Greg spent time working in some of the Hunter Valley’s most well known wineries, before eventually finding his way back to his beloved Yarra Valley in 2001.

Now working as St Hubert’s Winemaker, a role Greg has held since 2006, Greg has worked closely with the vineyard team to rejuvenate the vines and honour the high standards set by St Hubert’s founders in the late 19th century.

Joining us from the Yarra Valley, Greg will host July’s edition of Meet The Winemaker, bringing with him some of St Hubert’s most popular wines to taste, along with his insight and stories from his time in the wine industry, at home and abroad.

Along with indulgent canapés from Prince Dining Room, join us on Wednesday 19th July for a night of great wine and delicious conversation.
