Parson and the Peas with Celtic Music in August Market Sunday Concert
The Music on a Market Sunday Concert on 27 August at 12:30pm in the Armidale Uniting Church features the Parson and the Peas playing traditional Celtic music and original compositions by Paul Brown. Paul (the Parson) is joined by three Peas: Sharon Brown, Fiona McDonald and Nikki Murcell.
This is a great opportunity to hear how Celtic folk music has inspired a living creative tradition among Armidale based musicians using a range of instruments: tin whistles (big and small), Irish flute, recorders (big and small), Irish bouzouki, ukulele and bodhran.
Admission to the concert is free (though donations are encouraged. While there are no CoVid restrictions the audience is invited to practice social distancing. Tea and sausages will be available at the Uniting Church before the concert.
