Roller Derby Championship 5x5

Round 5 of the 5x5 Roller Derby Championship for 2023 is being hosted by Canberra's very own Varsity Derby League at Evelyn Scott School.

Get ready for a heart-pounding, action-packed roller derby extravaganza like never before! Join us in Canberra for a roller derby showdown that will leave you on the edge of your seat. It's time to witness the fierce athleticism, thrilling jams, and jaw-dropping hits that only roller derby can deliver.

GAMES AT 2pm, 4pm and 6pm! Roller skaters from all over ACT and NSW will be coming to Canberra for this epic day of roller derby!

Whether you're a die-hard roller derby fan or a first-time spectator, this event promises an unforgettable evening of skill, strategy, and sheer determination

This event will be fun for the whole family. Tickets are $15 each via Eventbrite or $20 at the door, with kids under 10 free!

Our Armageddon and Battleground Divisions will battle it out throughout the year to see who will be crowned Champion!

Round 5 will see Battleground teams WSR/S2D2 v NBRDL face off at 2pm.

The second game of the day will have IWRDL B v BMRDL also from Battlegrounds challenge each other at 4pm.

Armageddon will close the days events with IWRDL A v VDL at 6pm.

Join us at the after party from 8:30pm at the Statesman Hotel Cnr Strangways & Theodore Streets, Curtin, ACT, 2605 for a bite to eat and some refreshments.
