Gullotti Galleries in Cottesloe is capping off another year of incredible Australian art coups with an exclusive showing of British-American artist Russell Young’s acclaimed series FAME from Friday 17 November 2023.

It will be the artist’s first solo show in Australia and the first time FAME has been exhibited in the southern hemisphere.

FAME is an interwoven story of an American timeline and a cast of iconic characters who embody a cultural golden age.

Icons like Marilyn Monroe, Muhammad Ali, Kate Moss and Elvis Presley are depicted in one-of-a-kind hand-mixed pigments with tactile layers of diamond dust, many of which are hand-pulled on a silk screen printing press that once belonged to the late Andy Warhol

Young’s works can be found in prominent art collections around the world – including those of Barack Obama, Brad Pitt, David Bowie, David Hockney, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, the Kardashians and Kanye West.
