On Saturday 28 October, settle in and get ready to be taken on a magical mystery tour of comedy with the outrageous Simon Taylor & Nicky Wilkinson!

Simon Taylor is an Australian stand-up comedian based in Melbourne and LA. He is the TV host on Channel 31’s flagship show Live on Bowen along with That Startup Show and Beat Streets with Simon Taylor. He was a writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno until its completion and also wrote for Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell on the ABC. Simon has toured the world with his stand-up in places diverse as New York, Albuquerque, Singapore and Cambodia. Time Out describes him as “a shooting star of the comedy scene”, The Age depicts him as “a master of timing” and he is a recipient of The Butterfly Club’s prestigious Under Our Wing Award, previously won by Tim Minchin and Sammy J.

UK comedian Nicky Wilkinson is also a talented and versatile actress, voice-over artist and presenter. An accomplished MC, Nicky’s warm, likeable, down-to-earth style instantly eases audiences. Her comedy mixes charming, real-life anecdotes with just the right dose of self-deprecation and often brilliantly funny improvised riffs with the crowd. Nicky is a regular on the stand-up circuit in the UK and abroad after reaching the finals of prestigious comedy competitions So You Think You’re Funny and New Act of the Year. As comfortable on screen and radio as she is on stage, Nicky has a repertoire of characters the likes of Cheryl (South London Minicab Driver) and Mistress Quickly (the wench in Shakespeare’s A Comedy Of Errors.) Alongside Claire Ford, Nicky is also one half of multi-award winning physical comedy duo, The Kagools.
