Summer is heating up in Stonnington with the return of Sunset Sounds for two FREE evenings of unforgettable live music.

Sunset Sounds has cemented its place as a highlight of the City of Stonnington’s annual
calendar and this year is set to be no different. With lush green grass, summer vibes and a
selection of Melbourne’s finest food trucks, Sunset Sounds presents the perfect night out.
On Sunday 15 January, 3-time ARIA nominated singer and songwriter Mo'Ju will take to the stage, supported by Afro-Soul outfit Cool Out Sun with PBS DJ Lyndelle Wilkinson at the helm mixing up the magic.

Mo'Ju has enjoyed massive success including accumulating over one million streams on their hit single; Native Tongue, claiming the National Indigenous Music Awards Song of the Year and
Australian Independent Record Awards Best Independent Single in 2019. Mo'Ju is a queer icon, thought provoker, storyteller, advocate for change and Third Culture Kid (Filipino/Wiradjuri). From bursting onto the scene in 2018 with their self-titled debut LP, Cool Out Sun have played festivals and shows all over the world, from Australia to the UK to France. Their infusion of Roots and Hip Hop with an inclusive Afro-heartbeat invites you to wake up and cool down this summer.

Come along with your friends and family, grab your picnic rug, and settle in for a great
evening of live music under summer sunset skies!

The second concert on Sunday 22 January will be headlined by The Bamboos, supported by far north Queensland futuristic soul trio Izy with PBS DJ Ella Stoeckli spinning tunes from 5pm.
