The Wayfinders

A unique and participative audio experience where kids
from 5-8 years ‘hear’ the Convent landscape around them using sound. Wearing their own headphones and customised packs, children explore the Convent's heritage gardens, uncovering soundscapes and the 'voices' of plants
and places. Pre-recorded by older primary school children, stories emanate from the ground up, inviting younger children to reimagine and animate place through their own creativity. Created by Jessica Wilson, The Wayfinders draws
on her ongoing interest in immersive installations and self- guided physical journeys through landscape, that challenge
