Barbie is returning to The Langham, Melbourne these April holidays with the Celebrate Barbie Afternoon Tea, coinciding with the 65th Anniversary of Barbie!

Running for 6 days only over the upcoming holidays, including two Saturday sessions, multi-generational Barbie lovers are invited to join us for a Barbie themed afternoon tea in Alto, The Langham’s luxury event space.

From young children, to grandparents, Barbie has captured the hearts of generations around the globe and this event will be a celebration of the world’s most iconic fashion doll.

For the first time, children can host their Birthday party at the event with group bookings being accepted (up to 10 guests) and Barbie birthday cakes available for an additional $75.

Junior tea party guests will indulge in an array of whimsical and colourful treats inspired by Barbie herself, including a Red velvet cupcake, Passionfruit macarons, Chocolate strawberry truffle, Chocolate and salted caramel tart, plus Scones with rhubarb and raspberry jam. There will also be a delicious array of hot and cold savoury items including Hazelnut buttercream and banana sandwich, Avocado, tuna, sweet potato and cream cheese on wholemeal, Chicken, tomato & Swiss cheese focaccia, Potato and vegetable drop scones with tomato chutney and Burger pie with creamy sauce.

Adult guests will enjoy the same Barbie-inspired sweet treats and scones, plus a selection of sandwiches, Prawn, scallop and orange ceviche with shimeji mushroom, fennel, pickled onions, Tandoori chicken pie with curry leaf, coriander and onion pickle and Tuna-thyme arrancini with Parmesan cheese and tomato jam.

There will be two sessions held each day from Monday 8 April to Saturday 13 April (11:30am – 1:30pm & 2:30pm – 4:30pm) and bookings can be made now.
