Resolution - The Felix Quartet

The young and vibrant Felix Quartet, after successful appearances at world-renowned chamber music festivals, returns to Wyvern Music Forestville’s concert series to perform “Resolution” with masterful string quartets by Beethoven and Weinberg. Be engrossed by Beethoven’s glorious String Quartet no 9 in C major, nicknamed the Eroica because of the dazzlingly triumphant finale and be swept away by the excitement and intensity of Weinberg’s 6th String Quartet. Enjoy the intimate experience of chamber music performed with the brilliance and verve of exceptionally talented young musicians.
Founded in early 2022 with the goal of creating engaging and original performances of wide-ranging repertoire, the Felix Quartet has recently re-energized with prize-winning violinist, Andrew Wang taking the leading 1st violin role, multi-talented Benjamin Lam (formerly the violist of the group) moving across as the 2nd violinist, and gifted musician, Justin Chen joining on viola with highly-accomplished founding member, Ari Volovelsky remaining.as cellist. The Quartet has performed in the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in Finland, as well as the Australian Festival of Chamber Music.
