THE FEEL ALRIGHTS
Featuring - Nick Sheppard, Greg Hitchcock, Nick Dudman & Hank D
4 well dressed and young(ish) men on a mission to bring you the sounds of the beat boom of the sixties. They definitely should know better but they just don’t care, so you will hear both the Beatles AND the Stones, as well as the Kinks, The Yardbirds, The Small Faces and The Who, lesser-known gems from? And The Mysterious and The Sonics, and Soul and R&B gems by Chuck Berry, Ted Taylor and Mitch Ryder…
Seriously - we have an original band called The Tender Hearts. Our Singer Andy Shadburne had to return to The States, so in his absence, we decided to work up a bunch of quarantine-busting covers to keep the wheels turning and the fires burning. 3 months later, things are sounding so good we decided it was only sensible to get out there and make a racket in public. And so we are…

LESZ KARSKI
Leszek Karski’s long association with the blues has yielded a shed load of classic original material, much of it involving Australian names and places.
He performs a collection of songs penned during his time with The Hippos, Bondi Cigars, Donkeys and more recently The Nervous Investors.
His selected covers include songs by Bill Withers, Al Green, Anne Peebles, Keb Mo', Howling Wolf, Taj Mahal and Willie Dixon.
With Karski’s unique guitar and vocal style, waggish lyrics and compelling rhythms, his brand of music is good dancing fun, engaging both feet and brain. Leszek’s solo acoustic shows remain engaging and dynamic throughout.

This is blues at its very best.

EMPIRE BLUES
Empire Blues is an established, dynamic Blues Power trio whose primary influences come from the British Blues invasion of the 1960s. Initially the band took its material from this period, but over time it has moved to performing more original material in the belief that for Blues music to evolve, you can't keep just repeating the past. Formed in 2005 the band features prominent Western Australian Blues musicians:

Andrew McIlroy (guitar/vocal)
Alan Dawson (bass guitar/vocal)
Frank Shinall (drums)

All three musicians have been stalwarts of the Perth music scene for many years. High-energy blues is very much the staple of the band, which has a well-earned reputation for lifting the roof off many a blues venue. The band also brings together more traditional elements to many of its songs through the use of Dobro-slide guitar, fretless bass and brushes on the drums for an acoustic (not roots) blues feel.

Looking forward to seeing you all there! Gates open at 10am!
