A French porn star is suing Bow Wow (formerly Lil’ Bow Wow) for using footage of her in the video teaser for his track 'Drank In My Cup'.
Allegedly taken from a music video by the band Electronic Conspiracy, adult actress and Penthouse cover star Katsuni says the 25-year-old hip hop artist also used a body double to give viewers the idea the two were involved in “intimate activities.”
According to Entertainment Law Digest, the suit, filed in Bevery Hills Federal court last month states: "At no time did plaintiff permit footage of her dance performance in the Electronic Conspiracy music video to be used for any other purpose or in conjunction with any other musician other than Electronic Conspiracy.”
Katsuni (real name Celine Tran) is seeking US$75,000 plus punitive damages for publicity rights violations, unfair business practices, false association and unjust enrichment from Bow Wow and his label Universal Music Group.
