Bryan Adams To Light Up Aussie Stages In March With His 'Shine A Light Tour'

Canadian rock icon Bryan Adams will be lighting up stages next year March with his 'Shine A Light Tour'! Kicking off at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena, he will head to New South Wales for shows at Wollongong's WIN Entertainment Centre and Sydney's International Convention Centre. He is also set to do a pair of outdoor concerts for A Day On The Green, performing at Hunter Valley's Bimbadgen Estate and Perth's Kings Park & Botanic Garden.

Before wowing his Aussie fans though, Adams will first be winding up a series of NZ shows happening at Auckland's Spark Arena, Wellington's TSB Arena, Nelson's Trafalgar Park and Christchurch's Hagley Park North.

A certified superstar, Adams is well known for his signature brand of feel-good rock'n'roll. He has achieved a string of number one hits in over 40 countries and has sold over 65 million records across the globe.

He just recently released 'Ultimate', a celebration of a number of his classic rock ballads that have spanned the length of his four-decade long career, including hit singles 'Summer of '69', '(Everything I Do) I Do It For You', 'Heaven' and his Rod Stewart and Sting collaboration 'All for Love'. The album also spawned two brand new songs 'Ultimate Love' and 'Please Stay', Adams' first new music in more than two years.

The last 40 years saw Adams collecting an impressive number of accolades including a Grammy, three Academy Awards and five Golden Globe nominations. He was also awarded the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia for his contributions to popular music and philanthropic work through his foundation, The Bryan Adams Foundation.

Supporting him at all shows will be special guest Mahalia Barnes. Meanwhile, Busby Marou and Pierce Brothers will join the Hunter Valley show while Mark Seymour & the Undertow will hop along for the Perth ride.
