The Belconnen Dog Obedience Club (BDOC) was formed in 1975 to provide dog training instruction and facilities for people living in North Canberra. BDOC moved to its current location in Mitchell (or future Kenny) in May 1997.
The Club boasts excellent facilities, including large separate training areas, a fully equipped shop, office, library, kitchen and toilet facilities and general relaxation areas. The Club grounds are divided into the main training area, a smaller area utilised for agility and flyball and a small fenced yard. The grounds are floodlit for evening sessions and water for dogs and waste collection facilities are available throughout the grounds.
