Brittania Park

Welcome to Britannia Park!

Located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, Britannia Park is a Girl Guides Victoria recreational and camp site. The camp accommodates 85 people indoors and up to 500 people outdoors, catering for day visits, short trips or longer stays.

For 80 years Guides have visited this 18-hectare natural bush site which features wildlife, expansive grassed campsites as well as treehouses and indoor accommodation.

Surrounded by natural attractions, Britannia Park is the go-to destination for your next hiking, biking or horseback riding adventure. Visit the lush Yarra State forest, take a trip to nearby Healesville Sanctuary, hike up the Mount Donna Buang Gallery and Skywalk or take to the road along the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail.

Britannia Park offers the perfect secluded retreat. You can settle in around the campfire circle, have a BBQ, visit the outdoor chapel or take a tour of the heritage camping museum – all without ever leaving the grounds.

If you’re looking for adventure, there are a myriad of fun outdoor activities at your doorstep, including archery, orienteering, a challenge course and a hike to the Britannia Creek Falls.

Everyone is welcome: school groups, special interest groups, corporate groups, Scouting and Guiding groups. Britannia Park has played host to health and wellbeing retreats, meditation courses, theatre troupes and team-building getaways. Its natural wonderland setting has also seen several successful weddings.

The grounds cater for people of all abilities, equipped with disabled bathrooms and access to most indoor facilities via ramps.
