A place where strangers meet and become friends. We promote an integrated whole of life experience, and foster community pride. We believe that by building connections with others within the community you can increase your mental, social and physical health and well-being as well as giving you the freedom and independence you deserve.

Our aim here is to provide wonderful opportunities and experiences for those within the community who are 50 years of age or older, promoting an atmosphere that is based on fun, fitness, wellness, friendship and independence.

For almost 50 years we have advocated for the needs of older Australians and helped our members increase their social connections, become more mobile and challenge themselves with mentally stimulating activities.

We are passionate about bringing people together and creating an environment that is warm and welcoming, encouraging people to step out of their comfort zones, meet new people, try new things and gain a new lease on life.

Our members have access to a range of exciting and fun activities including yoga, TaiChi, line dancing self-defense classes as well as card and board games. We also hold annual special events and invite guest speakers for talks on various topics.

If you have ever found yourself wanting to learn a new skill, build your network, or perhaps felt a little less than confident with the age of technology and constant changes in our society, then our social club is the right place for you.

Our programs not only give you the knowledge you are seeking, but also give you a sense of empowerment in knowing you can achieve anything you set your mind to, surrounded by others who are sharing in your experience.

CDSCA cannot operate without Volunteers and they are always needed. We engage in the recruitment of volunteers at all levels to support the common good. Any time you can offer us is welcomed and hours of work are flexible and negotiable with refreshments available on-site.
