Fish Creek Memorial Hall

The Fish Creek Memorial Hall was built in 1930 and has served as a community hub ever since, hosting dances, teas, concerts, meetings, classes and much more for the town down through the decades.

As a memorial hall, it houses honour boards acknowledging those who served and those who fell in World War 1, World War 2, Vietnam and other conflicts in the world.

Currently the Hall is used and available for many different functions including:

concert, performance and theatre space
exhibition space
weddings
anniversaries
parties
meeting space
cinema
church
teaching space
funerals/wakes
dance rehearsals
dance hall
and of course, the famous Fishy Opp Shop is open every weekend!
The purpose of the Hall is to function as a viable social and cultural centre for the enjoyment and well-being of the Fish Creek community. It is a versatile space offering a venue for the events, needs and purposes required by the people of the town and district. It’s the social centre of the town.

The Fish Creek Hall is owned by the Fish Creek Memorial Hall Committee on behalf of the township, and is not publicly funded.

The Fish Creek Memorial Hall is also the proud home of the famous Fish Creek Tea Cosy Festival.
