Guthries SA Folk Centre

The Folk Centre is a multi-purpose venue. We are licensed for 240 people, and can sit about 150 - 170 in cabaret mode. The venue has a bar, outside courtyard/café area and an in-house sound system. We have a stage with curtains, full sound and lighting, disability friendly access, and, overall a very workable venue.

The Folk Federation provides event management and promotional support, and is keen for all kinds of groups and artists to use the venue. However, as a small, non-profit organisation, the Folk Federation does not act as a major promoter nor provide guarantees for artists.

We are especially focused on folk, acoustic, community and multi-cultural events as these are closest to fulfilling our objectives. This does not mean that events outside of these areas are excluded, but that they are not our main priority.
