Hazelhurst Arts Centre

Hazelhurst Arts Centre presents an exciting and varied exhibition program annually. Drawn from major state, national and international collections, up to three exhibitions are presented at any one time. To help foster and promote local art, solo and group exhibitions are on view and for sale in a regularly changing program in the Broadhurst Gallery. Artists are invited to submit proposals to exhibit in this gallery.

The Arts Centre includes six professionally designed studios catering for beginners to the practicing artist. Day, after school, evening classes, weekend and school holiday programs are offered. Hazelhurst's theatrette is a state-of-the-art facility which hosts a regular program of special events during the year.

Hazelhurst is an initiative of Sutherland Shire Council, and was made possible by the generous bequest of Hazel and Ben Broadhurst who had a dream of sharing their extensive property with the local community.
