In 2011 the Gold Coast Bulletin (May 2011) recognised Swingin Safari as 'a Gold Coast icon, which has revolutionised Gold Coast night life'.

An approach to revive the simplicity and grace of the dinner dance era of the 1960's, has established itself as a local cultural hub as its point of difference.

Swingin Safari opened its doors in 2003 on what was supposed to be a 3 month experiment to test an idea...Fast forward 2012 the music is supplied by DJ's, VJ's and some of the smoothest musicians or bands in the country. The dinner is tapas, bbq or whatever you want us to do....

Simply put Swingin Safari is a licenced restaruant that offers tapas or a La Carte dining for weddings-parties-anything blended with.... table tennis, free wi fi, coffee, cocktails, dressups, board games, dance the Tango or groove to classic old school funk/soul/rock 'n' roll or live music all with the twist of the weird and wonderful...
