From humble beginnings in December 1966 WestsideHQ has been an important part of the community in the Western suburbs of Brisbane. Sherwood Services Club, as it was known then, has and will always preserve the memory of those who served with the forces. Our day to day purpose has been to provide amenities for the benefit and social comfort of our members and guests.

With greater competition in the food, beverage and entertainment sector Sherwood Services Club has embarked on a metamorphosis, which includes the change of our trading name to WestsideHQ. The first phase of renovations has been completed, which includes the integration of our café and restaurant into a larger combined dining space serving an extensive lunch and dinner menu as well as our all-day menu for those early birds and night owls.

Access to our renovated venue is now via a new entrance conveniently located adjacent to our carpark. On entering the new spacious entrance, you will feel the sense of a modern space that hints at the new direction of WestsideHQ. With many existing and new activities to recommence after Covid-19 restrictions are lifted there will be something on offer for all members of our community.

We welcome all existing members to continue to be a part of our vibrant community and invite members from suburbs in the west of Brisbane and beyond to join us and enjoy the benefits of membership. From special member pricing on food and drink to regular promotions, great live entertainment and shows, along with other diverse social activities, we offer an abundance of reasons to become a member of WestsideHQ.
