Camp Courage – Grades 9–12

Exams. Getting decent grades. Home responsibilities. Balancing casual work. Studying. A healthy social life. Connected to the online world 24/7. It’s little wonder teenagers are struggling to cope with it all.

For the past 18 months at Girl Shaped Flames, we've worked with over 1,600 teen girls, parents and educators. And if there’s one thing we know about your teen daughter, it’s that when she’s connected with like-minded teen girls and strong, female role models, we can reduce her fears, build her confidence and help her reach her full potential…all while learning the ropes of responsibility for school, home and work.

Camp Courage, a 3-day experience in Ivory’s Rock (Grades 9–12), will provide your daughter the opportunity to switch off from social media, connect with like-minded girls (facing the same challenges as your daughter) and have the chance to nurture her sense of confidence and determination - through workshop groups and plenty of fun activities.

We’re not talking crazy hikes or flame throwing (Let’s call that Camp Courage 2.0.). We’re talking 3 days of non-stop awesome, with influential women leading life-changing workshops, in a serene landscape with an intimate group of other girls with fire in their bellies.

Over 3 days we’ll deep dive into 6 different types of courage:
- Physical
- Intellectual
- Emotional
- Social
- Moral
- Purpose

Co-hosted by Hollywood Stunt Artist Ky Furneaux (Avengers, Thor, Xmen3) this experience promises to change the way your daughter thinks about herself and believes in her ability to pursue her dreams.
