Heavy Rotation: BYO Vinyl Night

It’s not what you know, it’s where you go. Ella is Melbourne’s new destination for good food and great drinks, local music and cool art.

In partnership with Melbourne Record Club, Ella is introducing monthly music sessions dedicated to vinyl enthusiasts giving them the chance to share their long-standing record-spinning love affair with friends, old and new. We’re not talking handing over the aux cord to put on the latest Spotify playlist, we’re talking the real deal—dust off those records and take charge of the music.

No DJ skills required; all we need you to do is delve into the depths of your collection and source us your favourite tunes, bring them along, and register with our host for your 20-minute slot to play your tune selection for everyone.

Join us next to the newly opened cocktail bar, Byrdi, and enjoy a night of good tunes, good food and all-round good vibes. We’ll be spinning records from 6pm to 10pm on the last Thursday of the month for the rest of the year (at least)!
