Acclaimed pianist Elyane Laussade plays Mozart's beautiful Piano Concerto No.17 in G Major, K.453 with the Melbourne Musicians directed by Frank U. Pam. The last movement is a set of variations on a quirky little tune which Mozart taught his pet starling (or he may have learnt it from the starling).

The orchestra plays Haydn's Symphony Nlo.83 in G minor, (Paris Symphony no .2) "La Poule" (The Hen) and the premiere of a symphony by Dittersdorf composed in 1791, the year of Moazrt's death. Haydn, Dittersdorf and Mozart were friends who played string quartets together in Vienna.

The concert is in the excellent James Tatoulis Auditoriium at MLC and parking is available on site.
