With support coming from Daniel Van Zutphen, whose voice has been sorely missed, this afternoon show will be an intimate performance by both artists, showcasing new material which has been in the works for some time.

Swimming Over Faultlines is the latest album by Brisbane based singer-songwriter, Remy Boccalatte. The album pulls in a variety of influences centred mainly around indie rock; however, elements of folk, jazz, and rock thread their way through the 10 tracks, split definitively to 'light' and 'dark' sides. Lyrically, the themes span introspective reflection on loss, love, and learning, to imagined stories which are as interesting as they are metaphorical. Overall, the album is a beautiful collection of songs, held together with mature songwriting, and is an exciting prelude to what's to come by this unique, Brisbane talent.
